For used concrete pump trucks, the repair and maintenance suggestions to extend their service life mainly include the
following aspects:
Daily inspection and maintenance: regularly discharge the precipitated water at the bottom of the hydraulic oil tank,
check whether the lubricating oil tank and each lubrication point are filled with grease, and whether the water tank is
filled with clean water. At the same time, check the sealing condition of the concrete piston to ensure that no mortar
seeps into the water tank, and check whether the gap between the cutting ring and the spectacle plate is normal.
Replacement of wearing parts: The concrete cylinder, piston and dispensing valve are the main wearing parts.
When the inside of the concrete cylinder is scratched or worn, it should be removed for repair or used in a drop-in fashion.
Worn pistons can lead to reduced sealing and slurry leakage problems and should be repaired promptly. If the components
of the distribution valve are broken, it is recommended to replace them directly to improve the whole performance of the
pump truck.
Maintenance of lubrication system: Regularly check and replenish the lubricating oil in important parts to ensure the supply
of lubricating oil to the slewing parts, hopper, concrete pad and distributing valve to minimize the wear and tear.
Inspection of structural parts: Due to the poor working conditions of the pump truck, the solidity of the connecting and
supporting parts, the firmness of the connecting bolts and sealing, as well as the condition of the parts should be
checked regularly to ensure that there is no rupture or breakage.
Maintenance of pumping system: rotate the conveying pipe regularly to make the wear and tear even and prolong
the service life. Check the wear of the delivery tube and replace it if necessary. Use a thickness gauge to measure
the tube wall thickness to ensure it meets requirements.
Professional periodic maintenance: In addition to daily maintenance, professional periodic maintenance should be
carried out according to the requirements of the manufacturer of the pump truck, including checking all threaded
connections, the piston joint rod connection in the tank, and the wear and tear of the S-pipe, mixing device,
mixing blades and mixing bearings.
Maintenance of the chassis: perform maintenance in accordance with the chassis manufacturer's requirements,
including checking the engine oil level, oil pressure, cooling water level, tire wear and pressure, as well as the
electrical system and safety devices.
Accumulator maintenance: Check that the air pressure in the accumulator is adequate and fill it with nitrogen
according to the prescribed method to ensure that the accumulator works properly.
Following these repair and maintenance recommendations can effectively extend the service life of your used
concrete pump truck and ensure its efficient, safe and reliable operation!
